Mahadev is aware of Sati’s existence after being able to see parts of her peethas. Lord Vishnu as well as Brahma ask Adi Shakti for Mahadev’s well-being. Mahadev is able to recall Sati through playing the Veena. In the meantime, Tarakasur orders his warriors to take out Sati’s peethas in order to destroy Mahadev’s power.
