Mahadev talks to Lakulesh about his past experiences that were related to Daksh. Lord Vishnu helps Daksh as well as Angira regarding Mahadev’s abdication. Lord Brahma finds himself impressed by Daksh’s intellect, and plans to name him the Prajapati. Daksh shows his strength during the yagya and asks for blessings from Lord Brahma as well as Lord Vishnu. In accordance with Lord Vishnu’s instructions, Daksh worships the shivlings. He asks Mahadev to give him the capacity to take on the duties of the Prajapati.
