The Inspector is unable to investigate her case and also informs the father of Bapla about the visit. Bapla warns Sumaila to murder her if she is forced out of her residence. Sumaila visits the police station in the district and lodges a complaint about Bapla and other villagers. Police detain Bapla along with his companions and then call Sumaila for an investigation. Sumaila acknowledges Bapla as well as his companions. The police do justice for Sumaila and give her an NGO.
