Unable to locate an oarsman Nayan herself steers the boat to in the middle. Once the water has entered the boat, people in the boat jump into it and block Jeet. Jeet plunges in the river and fights to get back into the water. Nayan helps to save Jeet from drowning. Dripto is able to hear Kumu complain before God against Nayan because he is emotionally disturbed and ugly. Dripto finds it difficult to accept marriage to Nayan. Nayan believes Jeet as being Kalpana’s son. This could confuse the Jeet.
