Sai lives in Gadchiroli with her father Inspector Kamal Joshi in Gadchiroli the son of a local politician and criminal, Jagtap who is an unrequited love affair with Sai and is a nagging force. Jagtap attempts to murder Kamal in the hopes of marrying Sai. After passing the 12th examination in Maharashtra state Sai demands her father quit and move to Nagpur. Virat is posted in Gadchiroli. Virat's car pours mud onto Sai and results in Sai hate Sai. He is a bit irritated by him. Additionally, Virat asks Kamal to put off his VRS in the stage. Kamal is able to accept his top officer's decision, making Sai unhappy. Virat and Pakhi are in love with one their respective partners, but they are unable to get along. Chavan family decides to choose Pakhi as the bride of Samrat. Pakhi is able to remain with Virat and marry Samrat (who happens to be Virat's sister) and Virat vows Pakhi that she will not offer her spot to anyone. Pakhi admits to her love for Virat that Samrat is able to hear and departs to duty heartbroken. Kamal Joshi shoots the shot to rescue Virat from being shot by Jagtap, and Sai is the first to see the bullet. In his final hours, Kamal asks Virat to be the one to take care of Sai. Sai decides to take her own life. Following the funeral of Kamal, villager demand Virat to wed the orphaned Sai. Sai demands Virat to turn down the offer and reminds him of Pakhi. Virat offers a compromise proposal and, despite his insistence, Sai accepts the marriage. After the marriage ceremony, Virat reminds Sai to not expect any kind of husbandly love or support from him since previously he had made promises to Pakhi. Sai is also explicit that she'll end their union once she finishes her MBBS. Pakhi is irritated by Virat and Sai's union, however Virat is reassured by revealing the wedding's specifics. The Chavan family is not happy with Virat and Sai's marriage since Sai does not come from an higher class, Shahannau Kule Maratha as Pakhi. The Chavan family makes fun of Sai with a slur in a scathing attack on Kamal's death as well as Sai's upbringing.
