Saraswatichandra

Young aristocrat Saraswatichandra Laxminandan Vyas, a.k.a. Saras who is from Dubai is a shy person because of the suicide of his mother. He rejects an arrangement to marry his father and his best friend Vidyachatur Desai's child Kumud and informs her via an email. He asks him to tell her father about the marriage and Saras goes to her village of Ratnanagri located in the Ahmedabad district in Gujarat, India, gains acquaintance with her family, and eventually becomes enamored of Saras. She falls in love with her. When he returns back to Dubai, Saras finds a note from his mother Saraswati who explains how she was killed because of his father's having been involved with Gumaan. The note was composed by his step mother Gumaan. Saras refuses to accept his father's advice and refuses to get married Kumud as he can't help her financially without the wealth from his family.
