Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji

Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji (English: Empire Protector Sambhaji) is an historical TV show that is scheduled to air in Zee Marathi from 25 September 2017. The program focuses on personal life of Sambhaji Bhosale (May 14, 1657 until March 11th 1689) who was the elder child of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He was the successor of the kingdom following the death of his father. The rule of Sambhaji was greatly influenced by the constant war between the Maratha kingdom and the Mughal Empire. He also had to contend with neighboring power like Siddis, Siddis, Mysore and the Portuguese in Goa. The ruler ruled for 9 years. Sambhaji was imprisoned to be tortured and killed by the Mughals followed by his son Rajaram Chhatrapati.
