Dr. Simran Mathur, an acclaimed Gynecologist, is the oldest daughter of a senior officer in the government Saurabh and household worker Padma. Simran is the younger of two sisters: Kavita as well as Rashmi. Simran's parents are worried that their daughter, who is the eldest of them, is single and at mid-thirties.Simran treats a seriously sick patient Anandi who is saving her and her newborn baby.
