The tale of Bhakharwadi centers around two families from diverse cultures that reside within the same city of Pune as neighbours. They are both competitors in the business world. One of them runs an old-fashioned shop in bhakharwadi and adheres to the tenets of customs and norms while the other is a believer that it is important to match steps with the passage of time and encourages fusion foods.
