The background of the series is that of an incredibly dumb and deaf couple which is inspired by the Jaya Bhaduri and Sanjeev Kumar film Koshish, which was released in 1972. The initial promo for the series has been made public in the past and has been generating quite a excitement on the social media. The leading duo will be played by the couple consisting of Mudit Naryar as well as Simran Pareenja. Simran has previously played the leading role in the show Kaali, as did Mudit is well-known on shows such as Badli Devrani as well as the 'Anamika' series. According to multiple sources the veteran actor Kiran Karmakar will be playing Mudit's father on the show.
