Taanya Sharma affectionately known as Toasty she is a teacher at a school who is in love with a sweet male, Tej Prakash Chaturvedi, Chaturvedi family's third son. Although Tej's family isn't full of female members, after Gyan, the youngest son of the family Gyan has managed to persuade everyone else to accept the proposal, the family finally is in agreement and the wedding ceremony will take place. This is why the rules that was imposed by the Chaturvedi family, which prohibits contact or even speak to women, is violated. Toasty becomes part of one of the families where relatives are: Dadaji, Pitaji, and five brothers, Tej being the middle one. Since all women that have been part of the family have passed away and she is forced to assume the role of guardian for the males.
